Who is The 'Wired for Happiness' Seminar For?

Calling all Mums, Dads, Grandparents, Family members, Babysitters and Child care providers of all aged children
This seminar is for all child influencers!

The reality of today's child in today's world, is that it's dramatically different to when we were growing up  20/30/40+ years ago.  Life has gotten more complicated and gone are the days where a child can simply be 'punished' to teach them how to behave.

There's no doubt that we still want the old school results - respect, resilience, co-operation, manners and children who are independent, responsible and capable, but the old school approach does not work for the majority of children and this seminar is going to show you why this is so, and how to approach parenting in a different way.

Children today are smarter, more strong willed, more aware, more knowledgeable, but less emotionally prepared than ever, and the statistics (stated below) are showing us evidence of this.   Technological advances, alongside social media, are literally shaping a child's brain very differently and more quickly than ever before.

Adolescence doesn't even really start in early teens anymore. It can be as early as 8 years old!  Are you ready for that?

As every paradigm around you changes - education, media, politics, money, social structures, religion, gender roles - it is inevitable that our parenting needs to change too.

Parents are in the middle of this transition, desperately trying to navigate their way through the changes, and help their child grow up happy and resilient, but are often at a loss as to how to do it in this crazy world.

Are you still beating your head against a brick wall with old school approaches that aren't working and are only causing you to be angrier, overwhelmed and far from the calm role model you know your child needs?

Then, The 'Wired for Happiness'  Seminar is the answer you've been looking for.

We will teach you how to bridge that gap between the old school and the new school, and in the process help you to know how to wire your child's mind for happiness, joy, gratitude, self-confidence and the ability to deal with life's inevitable challenges.

What if I have an older child or teenager?

This seminar is for you too!   A child's mind does not fully develop until the age of about 25, and even then, their mindset is not set in stone. While it's true that the younger we can reach our children, the better, that doesn't mean if your child is already displaying loads of emotions, stress, depression or anxiety, that it's too late.

This seminar will teach you how to reverse your child's mindset (and even yours) if it is stuck in negativity and emotional stress, depression or anxiety.

This is one seminar that EVERY parent needs to attend if they are fully invested in their child's happiness

Scary statistics all parents can contribute to changing

Did you know that 1 in 7 Australian children between 4 and 17 years of age, experience a mental health condition?

That's 13.9% of children or 560,000 Australian children or adolescents!

Also, did you know that 1 in 14 children experience an anxiety disorder

And worse still, suicide in young Australians is the highest it's been in 10 years!

This could be your child, but it doesn't have to be

The good news is, parents are extremely influential in turning these statistics around.

So how can I wire my child's brain for happiness instead?

The short answer is that you train it to feel these emotions as a habit.

Anything we do with repetition and consistency literally creates neural pathways in the brain. Every time you have a thought, you release chemicals in the body which become our emotions.

When you teach your child how to think in ways that produce positive feelings, and you do this repetitively, the body starts to get used to these feelings and alerts the mind to keep using the thoughts that produce more.

You can teach your child to get into habitual thinking, feeling and behaving loops that compliment each other and train your child to feel positive emotions by default.

But if you don't know how to teach your child this information, their minds could end up wired for emotions of stress instead. And we certainly don't want that!

The 'Wired for Happiness' seminar is going to teach you exactly how to do program your child's mind to be happy with simple, actionable tools that are easily applied, and don't require you to have a degree as a neuro-scientist or a psychologist!

Whether you have a toddler and want to be sure you are setting your child's mind up for happiness, or you're a parent of a school-aged child or teenager, and are already worried about their mindset and wish to help them change their current thinking processes, EVERY parent will benefit from following the strategies given in this light-hearted, easy to digest live seminar!

About your Speaker, Jackie Hall

"I cannot wait to share with you new information on the brain that teaches you how to stop your kids from getting addicted to their negative emotions.  This is one parenting seminar you do NOT want to miss!"

Jackie Hall
Founder of The Parental Stress Centre of Australia

Jackie Hall, 5-time international author, speaker, mum, qualified counsellor and founder of the Parental Stress Centre of Australia, takes to the stage once again, this time teaching parents about wiring their child's brain for happiness.

Over the last 11 years, Jackie has worked with over 20,000 parents across Australia, UK and USA, helping parents to understand their own stress, depression and anxiety, and teaching them how to help their children develop a healthy and happy mindset that produces feelings of joy, happiness, gratitude, and more positive feelings.

Jackie is as real as you will get and has had to walk every bit of her talk as a parent, and as a human being.

Since being a teenager, she has been curious about how to be happy, and has spent her entire adult life studying and immersing herself in the field of personal development and the science behind being happy and training your mind and body to feel positive emotions by default.

In 2016, she toured Australia, visiting 18 different cities in 10 months and selling out of 16/18 of those venues, teaching parents how to understand their own stress, depression and anxiety.

After two years of further studying, learning, working with even more parents,  and feeding her curiosity about how mindset links to happiness,  Jackie brings to you the fundamentals every parent needs to know to ingrain the right mindset in your children that will help them to develop a life free from stress, depression and anxiety too.

Modern science has come a long way and we know so much about the brain that will help us raise our children to be happier

While the brain is still a unique, complicated organ that modern scientists are still learning to understand, they have come a long way in knowing the fundamentals of how it works and how a child's mind comes to perceive and feel about their life.

This information is readily available in this wonderful world of internet, however who has time to sift through all that, much less understand it?

Here's just some of the things we know about the brain and how this seminar is going to help you learn exactly what you need to help your child grow a brain wired for happiness...

  • We now know that when a child comes into the world, they have very few neural connections in the brain - enough to eat, sleep , heart rate and very basic human functions and the rest is developed from environment.

  • We now know a lot about how the brain organises itself, how emotions work, and how we can re-train the brain to change bad habits that have already been set up between our mind and body.

  • We now know what to expect from the different ages and stages of brain development children go through and how we can help them advance through each stage with confidence and a happy disposition.

  • We now know that every time your brain has a thought it releases chemicals into the body that become your emotions, and if the body continually receives the same chemicals (like the chemicals that get produced with stress), that the body can become addicted to them and emotions of stress can become a 'normal state of being' - a habit of feeling bad.    But we also know how to reverse this!

  • We also now know that even the genetics children are born with, that have come from family members can actually be altered and, while those genetics may predispose them to certain conditions, it does not hold them to a life sentence (meaning depression and anxiety do NOT have to be a hand-me-down!)

  • In a nutshell, your child's mind is a clean slate. The brain is changeable and adapts to the repetitive information it's exposed to, so as parents, we can be hugely influential in what and how we are teaching children.

We need to be deliberate about what information we're teaching them and exposing them to, when we're exposing them to it and how to expose them to it in a way your child can understand and learn from.

Do you know how to do that already?  If not, then The 'Wired for Happiness' seminar is for you!

So in summary, you will leave this seminar with the answers to the following questions ...

  • check
How do I stay calm so I can teach my child a healthy mindset for life?
  • check
How do I teach my child to deal with life's inevitable challenges without having a meltdown, getting depressed or anxious and without feeling worth-less about it?
  • check
How do I stop my child getting addicted to their emotions?  (Yes, your body can get addicted to emotions of stress!)
  • check
How do I reverse or change my child's mindset if I'm already seeing them stressed, over emotional, anxious or depressed?
  • check
How can I communicate with my child to teach them these things when they won't listen to my 'lectures'?
  • check
What specific strategies can I use to help my child learn about the responsibilities of life without them getting angry, frustrated or disrespectful with me?
  • check
How do I help my child be more appreciative of the things they have and stop feelings of jealousy, resentment, lack or not enough?
  • check
How do I help my child feel more confident, raise their self-esteem, feel worthy, and love themselves regardless of what other people think?
  • check
What can I say or do when my child is already feeling overwhelmed with emotion? What do I do in those moments?

So are you ready to bring more peace, happier kids, better communication and an easier parenting experience to your home?
